New to the site, with a new car too... Just got my World Rally Blue 2004 WRX yesterday, September 1, 2003 at 2:30 PM. All i have to say is it's everything I hoped for and a whole lot more. Traded my 2003 Civic Si (also blue ) and now I am paying the difference. I have no mods planned, outside of removing the intake silencer this Friday (open shop at Honda dealership where I work). So, now for my first question- does removing the silencer void the Warranty? I'm really worried about this and I'd like to keep the warranty for awhile. By the way, I put on about 120 miles on the car so far (7 miles on delivery) Finally, got my wish (wanted a WRX back in 2000 when it was first mentioned by SOA). I typed alot, I'm giddy as a little school girl and I can't help it.

Nah, removing it won't void it at all. Also, while you are at it, replace the stock filter with something better flowing, such as a K&N or Perrin panel filter.
