Depending on how many tickets you have.......9000 is very believeable....and yea....thats for just you. That really sux......and thats why you need to be careful to not get tix.....they end up getting the last laugh no matter what you do. I'm sorry to hear that, your dad probably about sh*t himself when he opened that envelope.

sorry your guys' first time at the meet was kinda wack...but it was cold and rainy...come sunny days, especially during summer, it'll get bigger again, sometimes over 25 cars at a time.

and sorry about my friend drifting out of the parking lot in his AE86. he told me it was a perfect 90 degrees onto the road from the parking lot exit hehe. his excuse to me was that it was wet, so nobody would hear the tires squealing anyways (which i didn't at least, just his exhaust)

but no need to worry. he's a pretty damn good driver, charlie, i, my other friends, even sean and his buddies will attest to that.

I heard ZERO tire squeal, so it was awesome! I'm down with John drifting that lot, as long as it makes no noise :D. Fullspectrum: ahha, I thought about that, but I think I'd crack under pressure. As for the next meet, I think there's a Daly City meet, but I have no idea if it's active - I've never been to the one in Daly City. It was cool seeing you guys there too - but unfortunately the turn out was a little small - I think it was due to Big Dogs closing early, but there's always next Thursday. I will be there next Thursday to feast.

Most of the time people roll in sometime between 8-9:30. If you want to get food, get there before 9 because they close. There are more people in summer, and they stick around longer. The only prob with BDG is that we can't seem to all get there at the same time.

Just went by. Didn't see any subaru's. Apparently it's a new hang out for evo and srt4 owners. I pulled up and didn't even get out of my car. Anyone else go by tonight? Maybe I missed it.

Evos started to roll by, most are friendly, but they don't really talk to the Subaru crowd, they do their own thing. I'm not worried about them "taking over our turf" considering they all park closer to Longs than they do Big Dogs. It's the Old Fogies that destroy Big Dogs on occassion - e.g. they all park in front, rev their sh!t loud as hell and piss off the locals.

I'm all for more people coming out, but I think it's just that no one has really broken the ice yet. Next meet, whoever gets there needs to break the ice. I'm tired of being the 1 man greeting group.

Haven't talked to you guys in quite a while - been busy getting things settled down up here in Portland. Sounds like things haven't changed a whole lot down there. ;)

Anyways, like I said, I'll be an Evo IX MR owner in the next week or two, depending on how quickly they can get me a graphite gray MR. I drove one tonight (an 06 - first time in an 06, actually) and I have to say, it's impressive. Every bit as good as the STI, if you ask me.

Definitely hang out with the Evo owners. Good group of guys from what I remember. And they'll help offset the bill when you decide you want to do a track even and only 4 subaru guys sign up for it. :P Besides, going head-to-head against Evos on the track is AWESOME. I did that at Thunderhill before I put my car back to stock. Had a blast.

Charlie, a lot of these guys are from Performancesport.net . They aren't trying to take over anything. They just want to kick it and talk cars. Just wait until I bring my new ride over there. And I am not talking about the SRT-4.

Personally, I'm down for bigger meets. Only every str-4 driver I've met either wants to race, wants to show off his BOV, or drives like an asshat. I'm not saying every neon driver is like that, but I haven't met one that didn't try to prove his car was FASTAR than mine.

You haven't met me or a few other people on PSN. Just because we drive the said car doesn't make us all asshats. There are quite a few WRX owners, as well as people that drive just about any car that can be labeled in the asshat category. Don't be so quick to judge people by what they drive. Most people on PSN are true car enthusiats with an admiration for performance oriented cars. Meet a few of us and you will realize we aren't that much differnt than you WRX guys. Although I used to be one.:)

While tone is hard to portray online, I was originally joking when I mentioned BDG being "taken over". I was carefull in my last post to not call srt4 owners asshats. Only the ones I've met. And believe me, I know there are tons of wrx owners that are jack asses too. Every car group has them. That's why I got out of the Audi scene. Nothing but old men that think they are better than everyone.

So I was over at a buddies house last Saturday, and rolled past BDG around 8ish....it seems as though the SRT owners have moved their Sat. (In n Out) meet over to BDG. Which is cool, there were probably 8 of them out there when I went by, and a few Evos too. I didnt stop though, but they all saw me drive by.

Anyways, This weather is sucking balls, and I dont like it. I want some SUN! Well, folks....have a great Tuesday, and maybe I'll see ya'll out on Thurs. I've been feeling a little better lately, so I may brave the weather this week.

Not at all, the STi stock really doesn't need all that much modification other then bigger sway bars and maybe springs.

Just come out and enjoy yourself.

Last week was pretty good. I think just over a dozen of us showed. We needs to pump this back up, y'all. The weather has been way better compared to April... and that definite helps get some numbers out.

I'll be coming back 'round to "a regular at BDG" status. I'll just be rolling out by 10 since I wk @5:00! YeeOuch!!!

Whats up BDGers! Sorry I couldn't make it out last night. I was at the body shop (Creative Kustoms) in SJ until 9 last night working on my truck. Its almost done, and OOOOOOOOOOHHHH DAAAAYM! Its gonna look SIIIIIICK when its all done. I'm not gonna spoil the surprise though, I'm just gonna show up at BDG's one night with it so you all can drool until you're hearts are content. :)


BTW......Plasma Cutters are the shizzle! The coolest tool evAr! ;)

Hey Rob! Sorry I missed you last week....but yea, here's a "Status" of all my current projects.....

House Projects:

Kitchen = on hold (almost done, just gotta finish the tiles.)
Front Bathroom = just needs paint (my sister volunteered for this one, thankfully)
Garage = Final plans are being drawn up as we speak, just faxed the specs for the lift to the architect on Sat.

Car Projects:

Datsun 510 = on hold, waiting for garage to be built and other projects to get finished first.

Suby = Partially on hold. (Turbo and all supporting mods are on hold until my truck gets done and Jeremy finds me an extra intake manifold, so I can have a way to get to work while the suby is down) However, I will be installing my KYB's, Race Comp Front Camber Plates, 04 rear Group N strut tops w/camber bolts, and my nice new Crucial Springs (Thanks Jeremy) very soon, as my stock struts are toasted and I need an alignment baaaaadly.

Tahoe = Tree fell on it and smashed in the roof, insurance totalled it, but I told them to suck a phatty and they BETTER fix it or I'll have to bust a cap in someones ass...so they said they'd fix it.....the Body shop has replaced the entire roof and fixed the tailgate, its been repainted already and the new glass in already installed. However, I have been spending alot of time at the body shop after hours....George is guiding me and allowing me to use some of his nifty tools/and facility to do some "Custom body work," before it goes to the "Other shop" for some REALLY custom sh!t thats gonna be uber badass and super pimp. ;)

So yea, I've got alot on my plate right now, and have realized that doing too much at once only stresses me out and makes me insane and depressed....so I decided to say **** all the other projects right now and tackle one at a time in order of priority, my truck being #1.

I didn't make it out last week due to the terrible onramp on 87 from Almaden - though someone said it was fixed. I will wait another week. I've got to apply for colleges (I'm slacking) and I need to get on with my life. Spent quite a bit of money so right now I'm just kind of sitting at home and collecting funds. I'll see you guys in June.

She painted my front bathroom and hallway....and right now she's painting Venetian Plaster in my entry way, and it looks soooooooooooooo good OMG! My house is actually starting to feel like its getting finished. When she gets it all done, Imma gonna have to have another Summer BBQ one weekend. Who'd be down to come party with me? :D
