Who else has the greddy evolution exhaust and didnt have a problem with it fitting without banging and rubbing? I was told to use the factory springs and bolts after the cat,, but they are not long enough to go through... also was told to loosen up the bolts pull the exhaust down and retighten,,, but still rubs... Its rubbing under the rear axle ,, not on the axle just in that area.. It was rubbing all the time and making huge noise, took it to a muffler shop had em bend it a bit, but it still rubs when I make hard right turns or hit big bumps.. Any help with this???:(

okie dokie then, I have the EVO myself and before I put the bushings on I could take my hand grab the tip of the muffler and jerk it to the left and it would bang factory hangers would give to much. Now the POLY bushings I cannot even take both hands and move it at all it may move 1/8th of an inch but it will not give under normal driving conditions and the like. Just my .02 tho plus you always have the BFH method as well;)

Yeah, the idea with the kartboy hangers is that they don't give like the factory rubber ones do.

thats lame... you shouldnt HAVE TO do any of that. the exhaust should bolt on perfectly and it should hit anything during normal conditions. for the price GReddy charges, it shouldnt have any problems. IF GReddy picks up their phone, then you should call, complain, and give em hell.

I did call.. they gave me bad advice.. called CA. they spoke very little english.. or just played like they did.. Thought I called headquarters Japan or something.. Anyways, I have a bought a few Greddy products... will see how the hangers do in a few days.. if they dont help then it will be the last greddy product is all.

I have the greddy evo and the only problem I heard about was the heatshield. Some guys take it off or just remove it. I still have to bang mine but I still to lazy to jack up my car.

I agree, you should not nhave to do all this crap just to get an exhaust to install correctly. I would get in contact with Greddy headquarters in Irvine, CA. they will help you out.
