Well i went to weapon-r on thursday of last week and browsed around and after a few hours an the weekend i picked up the new cold air intake system for my 09 wrx hatch, and well i gained around 15 hp and at least 20 fptq it has a wicked sound and a clean spool up i also noticed even at a steady 70mph cruise im mainting around 29-31mpg and Major thanks to the chris's and the guys all down at weapon-r for such aan awesome experience, im gunna throw up the pics for all to see and yeah it is a really reasonable price as well.

 

are you tuned? if not i highly doubt those are the actual numbers.

looks like where the stock air box used to be

 

I also have to say that that those #'s are kinda off, stock intake is better then a cold air up to about 300whp

 

He might have big "Weapon R" stickers, that would do it for sure!

Get a custom tune, then you will get some gains out of the intake (a bit more hp and better throttle response) as well as the rest of your setup.

They do sound pretty cool too, I had no idea how loud they were until I put on my APS CAI..... ppppiiissssssssssssssshhhh!!
