I currently have (power mods):

turbo-back exhaust
CAI
ebc set to 16.5 psi peak

a month or so ago I ran a 13.5 @ 100 mph.

I have a VF34 coming and was wondering what kind of times can I expect from this turbo swap upgrade.

(yes I plan to upgrade to STi injectors, and consider upgraded intercooler)

Can I run the VF34 first (without the STi injectors?)?
What would be the safe max boost? stock 13.5 psi?

Also, I don't have any engine management yet (no utec, cobb, ecutek, Vishnu, etc.)
But I was considering going the route of Apex'i S-AFC instead.
I was thinking I could still use the S-AFC to dyno tune and tailor fuel and timing for max. safe power levels custom to my car.
Would this be a good choice?

Well, the 2 leading choices for me are:

1) Apex'i S-AFC
2) Cobb Tuning reflash

Which would you guys recommend?

Yup, I agree. The S-Afc is a primitive tool for fuel management. I wish I'd just gone straight to the stand alone.

depends on what your use your car for.
If its more your street car and daily driver go with the afc, or and greddy e-mange.

If you plan on going all out do a stand alone.
