I just got my wrx recently and am looking at what modifications I want to do and exhaust is near the top of the list.
I have a few questions..

-Are there exhausts that sound good but are legal/you don't get pulled over constantly?

-If so, which sound/preform the best?

-How much does would it cost me?

-What is the difference between a catback and a turbo back ehxaust?

I really appreciate the advice I don't really know anything about exhaust systems!

 

Turbo back exhaust = catback+ down pipe

Catback = from the last catalytic converter.

you might want to try the Maddad Whisper CBE, Borla "Hush" (most popular).

Might cost you a couple hundred brand new ~$500, but maybe less if used.
