These types of stories seem to be more common. Wasn't long ago when a couple medics saved that person in that mall shooting.
Believe it or not i've been in two situations with military friends that have stopped crime. One was when my good friend and myself were in the Westfield mall near Chapel Hill when some college frat boy decided to shoplift. He stormed out of an ambercrombie and fitch
and my roommate/good friend said, "not on my watch!" before chasing him down.
Another time was in Raliegh when I was carpooling with friends in attempt to crash parties at NCSU. We were driving and all of the sudden police cars pulled out of every corner of the block near the school in attempt to sting a robbery at a nearby liquor store. Before cops could even get out of their cars my buddy had the robber on the floor. The cops were thankful but embarrassed. One young overweight cop said "You could of gotten seriously hurt" to my 220lbs of solid muscle 18B buddy.

HAHA Salty, I'm amazed any crimes occur around Bragg (with the exception of DUIs I've seen in Fayetteville which are numerous). Is it just me or all all gunslingers beasts in a fight?
