Possible war with Iraq?

do you think Saddam will step down before the 48 hour deadline? I for one don't think he will. I hope all of our troops that will be in harms way come home safe. I personally have a few good buddies that are out there right now.

Heck no he wont. He has his own country as his personal playground and he survived the last war just fine. I just hope we get him this time and be done with atleast that part. I hate to think of our troops and our allies troops over there tho, but I personally think it needs to be done.

We can disagree with the French politics, while keeping in mind that the French gave us the gift you see here, and it was designed by none other than Gustave Eiffel.

War

I also have friends over there and some on their way. I do not think war is always the thing to do but for all those people out there that are claiming that we are doing this because of oil. I feel they are some what uneducated because Saddam is doing the same thing he was doing in the early 90s nothing has changed we just ignored him from then until now I am glad to see that we are only a small amout of people here but support our bropthers and sisters supporting our freedom and I hope that they all come home safe and for those that might not I just hope it is worth all this in the long run to make Iraq a better for the people that live there. The french said they will only help if he uses WMD which they say he is putting in place. Just my $.02..

So this is for Saddam.

There is nothing wrong with France really, it's just their stupid president. Well actually being part french-polynesian, I could go into more detail on the bad traits of frenchmen... But I'll stop now.

What I find interesting is that France has sold Iraq nulcear reactors in the past(which Iran blew up ) what else did France sell to Iraq that wasn't disclosed?

actually I was just joking about France. Damn them and their croissants. BTW if the French did help us out, I give it a 50/50 chance that they'll surrender! Hell it only took a few weeks for them to surrender during WW2

Too true. We seem to have completely forgotten about Bin Laden. Bush needs immediate results and something he can show as a success and he cant find Osama and cant do anything about N Korea since its so built up...

An educated man might raise the big ole BS flag on that one.

North Korea is a pissant country looking for aid doing what has worked for the last 50 years: Making threatening gestures.

Our great president (at least IMHO) is calling their bluff and putting a stop to concession-based diplomacy. That f***ing regime is really pissed because "Daddy said, 'no'" and now they have to play nice like the rest of the world.

Give 'em a few months/years to figure out a new game plan and then we'll see. Until then, the leadership of the country can sit in their villas, while the normal populace starves through the spring, and **** bricks thinking they're next on our hit list.

Well, didnt really mean "so built up" as you obviously took it, but that we cant just march in there at this time with troops and grab all their weapons like we seem to want to with Iraq. Its a completely different ballgame. They may be "pissant", but how many ground troops do they have compared to Iraq? I wont try and estimate, but we sure couldnt just head in there like we have with Iraq.
