I am buying a downpipe for my 07 wrx and was looking to see what other people have and what they like/dont like about it. i was thinking of going with an ERX downpipe because many people on here like what it has done and have had no problems. i want something with good fitment that does not leak and fits up to a stock wrx exhaust. eventually i will definately upgrade the exhaust, but i am upgrading some other things first. just need info on what other people have, and think is best, and what not to get
thanks

i have alot of customers that really like the agency power down pipes. AP's down pipe replaces both cats and uses a slight extension for the second o2 sensor that prevents the usual check engine light from coming on due to running a catless down pipe.

Before picking up a downpipe, make sure you have a boost gauge and some form of engine management like the Cobb AccessPort or a TurboXS UTEC (COBB FTW!!!) due to the boost creep issues in 06+ models. I haven't honestly heard of many boost creep issues occurring so you could probably got away with no engine management for awhile... but a boost gauge is an absolute must :)

why is the boost gauge such a must? eventually im goin to get a boost controller, and that was when i was going to get the boost gauge. but why with the dp do i need one?

In order to monitor if you have any boost creep.

very good info there, i have not personaly seen any major creep issues but it is always good to monitor! as for the re-flash with just a down pipe you will be fine how ever there is alot of performance to be had from a flash!!!
