My track tires are about shot. These might be going on next. :)

We have been using them now on both our project cars for nearly a year and they really are great. We intend to stick with them

Hoosiers are totally different. They have less life and no tread. They are grippier.

The Nittos start off with tread blocks, although they are pretty bad in the rain. Even with tread blocks, the grip is great and there is minimal chunking as compared to something like an RA-1 at full tread. They have a pretty good life span and hold up well to many heat cycles, so you can get in almost a season of DE type events depending on how often you go. Ali is approaching half life on his after about 10 track days. I put about 2500 road miles on mine(with crazy track alignment), and about 7 track days and got a little beyond half life to where the tread blocks are gone and it gets even faster.

Hoosiers and other such tires are better for competition that allows them, but these are close in grip and last much longer in our experience.
