What type of mileage are you getting and how are you driving it?

Tranny fluid, engine oil, check tire pressure, make sure you use premium gas, easy on the throttle and shift before 3000rpm.

Don't expect Honda Civic mileage, but my WRX gets 240-260 miles per tank. That's with exhaust and an ecu flash.

Moved from General forum. Two other duplicate crossposts moved out of Feedback forum. Please post a question or problem in just one forum, thanks.

A model year 2002 WRX should have had quite a bit of periodic maintenance performed by this time. Consult the maintenance schedule link at the bottom of this page. Try changing out the spark plugs since the air and fuel filters have already been changed.

Is the car modified for more performance (bigger exhaust, turbo, etc.)?

maybe a new 02 sensor, a quick check from mechanic can give you a quick answer
