I want to buy an sti turbo for my wrx, i know i'll need injectors and a fuel pump and im getting the stock sti top mount, but does anybdoy know where to find a stock sti turbo? and how to look for it?

 

umm www.fastwrx.com theres plenty of sites that sell VF39's. If you were really cool you'd buy an 18g

 

i-club or nasioc classifieds is your best bet if you want a used one.

Why exactly are you looking for a VF39? If you are upgrading the injectors and fuel pump you might be better off getting a VF34 or 16G

 

i dont know much about 16 g's can you reccomend a brand? and will it work well with the 2.5 engine?

 

you can get used STi vf39's for around $300, just keep an eye out in your local classifieds forum.

Be aware that most of the vf39's from the STi will have a crack on the wastegate...it is very common. Supposedly it does not affect performance at all but I would be wary on buying a cracked turbo.
