I have the WRX Wagon and I was thinking about going with the following exhaust system which would put me totally catless:

Stromung down pipe, third cat eliminator, and dual tip exhaust, and the Vishnu 321 up pipe kit.

What problems may I encounter during installation and then after the install, i.e. cells or other problems?

What benefits will I see for running totally catless?

I want a somewhat quite exhaust with a stealth look. Don’t want to pay for the Vishnu turbo back system, all though it looks great and I think it about the same as the Stromung as far a quality, and look (stainless), but with a smaller pipe (2.5” vs. 3”) Is my car going to be much louder running catless or should it be closer to stock since it’s a dual tip?

I’m about to make a final decision so any feed back pos or neg would be cool…

I have the scoobysport downpipe :) from www.rallyperformance.com
the stock wrx center section and the WRSport muffler

quiet on idle :) but with a deep flat four note ;)
and when on the gas sounds deeper :)
and on hgwy driving no obnoxious droning like you get from some louder exhaust systems :)

also note: rallyperformance sell the CEL fix for the downpipe since you are removing the cat :)

you will notice slightly more top end pull with no cats and you will definately hear the turbo easier. its all pretty easy to install except for the up pipe. unless you have a lift or like spending time under a car. do it yourself.
