What kind of front mount intercoolers are you RS-Ts running? Mainly i would just like to know what intercooler core you guys have and where you got the piping done at. If you have a front mount could you please post pictures too?

I know adamsrs has a fmic. What core are you using?

I'd like to get one but they are just too damn expensive. That and I'm paranoid of all the crap on the roads hitting it and screwing it up.

im pretty sure someone could order an intercooler kit for gc8 wrx from japan then you would just have to change the bumper reinforcment

Tom from ludespeed was offering a FMIC option from his last turbo kit GB. Most of the guys with FMIC's have done custom jobs, and you can pretty much use any intercooler that fits. The greddy and hks type s are the most commonly used FMIC's on RS-T applications. You do have to get custom pipes frabricated of just "modify" an existing FMIC setup from another car. Punnkid has IIRC a talon FMIC setup on his 02 2.5 RS.

He told me it was a FMIC made by Drag, using the greddy core for an integra with custom piping made to fit.

I've seen guys run the cores from GTR's and Supras with their cars. All you have to do is get the piping made or order universal bends from online and do the setup yourself.

MeaCulpa: I am running a Greddy Integra Drag FMIC Core....then i had Custom pipes made.....if you want though, buy the Legacy or WRX crossmemeber with uppipe and downpipe and turbo and then just get a WRX Greddy FMIC kit...you will need to slipghtly modify the pipe that connects to the Throttle Body, but it should be easy!
