Good exhaust combo

Mmmkay. I ordered my accesport last week and I just got some sweet B-day cash . I decided to start working on my exhaust set up so i can move to stage 2 sooner rather than later. I know I want the borla hush so i can keep it quiet. I live in GA so emissions arent a prob. Any good DP suggestions? And what about a nice UP? Thanks for the help. I searched the threads and didnt see anything amazing. Direct me to one if you know one tho. Thanks.

Oh btw i have a 02 wrx.

the best downpipes out rite now are the invidia and helix. I got 03 with helix dp... it allows most flow because of bellmouth... 4 the uppipe... i run bosal catless... i got this cause it looks identical to stcok 1 ...so no one can tell the diff. it also allows max flow... soits good.

I always post this to any up-pipe thread...get a gutted stock up-pipe for $70 from that geezer off ebay then sell him your old one for $30 so it only costs $40 and it's a perfect fit, but forget the cost and fitment, the best bit is that if you ever have to go to state referee you won't have to re-fit your stocker, which is a pain in the a$$ to get to. DP's are easy to swap back, but up-pipes aren't.

If you want quiet TBE, Helix catted dp/Greddy Evo2 will do it for you.

I'm running a PDE DP bellmouth (pricey) w/a metallic substrate cat and a Greddy EVO catback and a straight up-pipe; has a deep but quiet note, and has never attracted undue attention! No issues at all with my bellmouth DP.

I have Perrin UP/TBE and have not had a problem. I am running catless with no CEL too. My only complaint is the install. What a PITA. I would not suggest this set up if you are going for a "stealth" or "quiet" exhaust setup.

Plus One for Perrin UP/DP/Cat back.
