torque specs? smoke and fumes?
so i just installed a vishnu uppipe and borla header. i thought i torqued everything down fine. drove around for about 20 minutes. i get back and i see quite a bit of white-ish fumes/smoke coming from down near the bottom of the downpipe. exhaust leak? smelled sorta smokey/burned oil-y. could it be something else??
just wondering if anyone could give me exact torque specs and your best methods. i'll probably get back under the car and double check everything.
also, it seems that the car is leaking a small amount of clear oil smelling liquid. it's not that viscous at all, light and oily, but it sure does coat the cement spot on the driveway. i have no clue what's going on. all i did was remove dp, up, and header. though i did lift the engine about 2-3 inches using a 2x4 on the oilpan, in order to slip the bulky uppipe out. everything seemed fine when i dropped it down and rebolted the engine mount.
people throw me any 'shot in the dark' responses. i'm getting concerned now...2nd day and plenty of white smoke leaving the bottom of the bay

Did you use wd-40 or some type of lube to loosen the bolts? I used wd-40 and its smoked for about 20 min until it burned off. Good luck.
