Has anyone recently tried the TWE headers/exhaust? It was discussed a few months ago on the old board but only a very few people thought they might get it. Apparently TWE was trying to outsource the ceramic coating, and had some problems. Anyone get this header/exhaust afterall?

Given the cost of the headers, I just don't think that many people have that kind of money for it - granted, they do have equal length 4-1 header for both N/A and turbo application if I recall.

Has anyone gotten these headers yet? I'm seriously considering getting some but would like to hear from anyone else that may have them. I've e-mail them and they assure they will bolt up to the stock location. I have a random tec cat or I'd go with their whole system.

Hi all,

I have received thier headers and have been well to damn busy to get back to them with the work they need to do to get them to fit correctly, but i will tomorrow.

As for the headers themselves, they are egual length which is damn nice and all meet at the flange to the uppie to the turbo. i notcied if I tried to fit them to a stock RS exhaust they will fit fine, because you can pull the exhaust down enough to get the headers to fit. But with the Ludespeed kit they do not quite reach as I cannot move the uppie down far enough to reach the headers. Though they look like they are going to work nice when they do fit.

The ones I have been testing out are for a Turbo Kits specfically, as they are being tested with stand the crazy temperature changes a Turbo inflicts on the headers and engine. These cost a little bit more.

I wonder if their Cat will mount in between Borla Headers and a Stromung Midpipe? I'd buy those headers if they were stainless, but I can't justify spending 629 on steel headers..

Bill, when do you anticipate the corrections being made to production pieces?

the headers are still sitting in the garage.
They will be mailed out shortly.
We may see results within the next month.
R/D is a slow process.
