(Who has the) highest mileage 2002 WRX in USA? (currently member psoper - 212k miles)
I have not been here for awhile, I apoligize for that. But I still have my 2002 WRX and am courious as to how they are holding up. So how many miles has the "higher mileage" WRXs got without major problems. And if you did have MAJOR problems please mention that too...
The bottom line : Should I keep mine or trade it in for a newer one?
Thanks All............

Lot's o' miles
I've got plenty of miles racked up on my 02 WRX sedan. It's been a Cobb stage 2 for quite some time and the only problems I've ever had that pissed me off was a CEL for a miss fire. Although the car never did miss fire. I get the CEL every once in a while when in 5th gear at about 2500 - 3200 RPM's going up hill. Other than that everything is fine (wish I never bought teh extended warranty).

I've got 96,500 something....I just wish the paint on the front bumper was better...Other than that I love my car....
I've put just a bit under 129,000 on my 2002 WRX since buying it new back in March of 2001.
So far the only real problem was that I needed to replace my alternator about a week ago after the voltage regulator went bad. Other than that the car hasn't given any trouble, even with regular hard driving and the occasional autocross or track day.
Here's a link to the thread I started when I crossed over the 100,000 mark..

Well it didn't fully die, but it is in for major repairs- Burned valve on cyl 4, CEL flashing away and running rough as crap.
Compresison test showed 25lb in #4 vs 180lb in 1-3.
