Straight up EJ25 into RS swap questions

Has anyone here in i-club done this? If I have a USDM STI and will pick up a 99(ish) RS or L. What else would I need in order to move the whole STI drivetrain, from engine to the brakes, and the ECU/wiring harness into the GC body.

What (if anything) extra needs to be purchased?

Is there any advantage in getting an RS vs. an L?

Are there any particular GC model-years (versions) I should be looking for?

Any input from people who have done this would be appreciated.

hmm i think the L is lighter. if you are redoing bumpers/skirts/hood then it doesnt matter. at that point you are looking for interior. unless you are redoing that too. if you are getting an L make sure you get the awd version

Yes I will be purchasing the version appropriate STI bodykit for the GC so those extras won't matter.

I dont think you need to get an AWD l because the body still has all the correct mounting holes.
