Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
This is a very well tuned '03 WRX with an incredible exhaust note. I know this because others have told me time and time again -- be it a slow pass through a parking lot or a high speed pass on the interstates. Think of the rumble in American muscle.

Also, this car stays glued to the road. It doesn't brake lose like one of those rear drive beasts and will battle through the turns as well as any GTI. One battle I am very found of is how I walked past a good friend and his M tuned BMW 545i on a high-speed interstate corner. Not only did he enter the pass first, I made up the difference and still had room to play. He was on the outside afraid of braking lose and I was glued to the inside. It blew me away. I couldn't believe it. All his German muscle and technology was no match. No match. It was one of those moments where you just look over, make eye contact and wave.

Please see my mods below for the gear I've used and how I've elected to set it up. There are no engine or engine management mods other than the use of headers and cat back. My interest is and has always been in the handling and drive ability. And with that in mind, the performance is directed to multi track, with equally stellar performance in dirt, snow, rain and uneven pavement (potted or construction). And when those conditions are not an issue, it's still ready to play with the best.

Peace be with you -- drive safe!,

Linc

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
STI transmission mount. STI steel clutch line. GF steel break line kit. Borla headers. STI SS cat back. Level 2 clutch with lighten fly wheel (Competition Clutch from NOPI).

Suspension Modifications:
KYB AGX 4-way Adjustable. Front lowered 1.25" with Prodrive coils, rear kept stock. Ingalls FastCam Bolts used on front to fix overly negative camber (going through front tires in less than a year is not cool). Rear sway-bar swapped with Cusco 22mm bar. Rear adjustment kept at 4. Front may vary between 1, 2, 4 -- depending on mood and driving conditions.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Drifz 517BZ 17x7 wheel in Bronze w/ polished lip rapped with 215x45x17W

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Back seat and door trim delete. Rear bumper steel delete. Spare tire delete or replaced with full-size mounted on light weight alloy wheel. 2005 STI 14" steering wheel (15" is too big!).

Future Modifications:
May continue to remove interior trim (headliner, carpet, radio, etc.). Would love a pair of red seats (Sparco, etc.). Love the Cusco rear wing. Possible carbon body panels (Crawford Performance roof panel, etc.). MOMO steering wheel. Brembo Brakes. Read more ยป
