work emotion cr vs OZ Superleggera

which, of the work emotion cr (bronze) or oz superleggera (gold), 17" rims do you think will look better on white wrx sedan, with jun bumper? choices have been narrowed down to these 2 based on prices, and i would like some opinions, pro/cons before unloading my wallet

I suggest Work -- they're not only better looking, rarer, and more JDM, they are also wider (7.5 inches vs. OZ's 7 inches)

i am deciding between these two as well. one minus on the emotion cr would be the lack of center cap. that and it can be difficult to find replacement if you bend one.

is there a reason that the emotion CR is so much cheaper than other jdm wheels though? i know work makes good rims, but every other work rim cost at least double the emotion cr, makes me worry if this is their bottom of line, not so great wheel.

That's probably why they're cheaper
Good point.
BTW, there are other cheaper JDM wheels as well: 5Zigen's, Kosei, etc. so the Emotions' price shouldn't be THAT surprising right?

the emotion cr's are cheaper because they are cast. unlike the emtions which are forged. dont know if that will help you out or not.

yeah, the emotion forged ones are priced comparably to other high end jdm wheels.

the 17x7 cr weighs around 19lbs, according to this site http://www.hopupracing.com/workemotioncr.html. i think the new cr kai weighs a little less.

Yeah, the big thing that turned me off of the Emotion CRs was the lack of a center cap. The forged Emotions are a bit out of my price range, too.

I'd like to find a center cap that'd work, and at least be a close match to the color, but I'm not sure where to look.

so essentially, any 17's i get will be heavier than the stocker. i think i've pretty much decided to get the work emotion cr. my body weight can make up for the 10 extra lbs than forged ones. thanks for all your input.
