winter wheels? why?

so i have some flat black rota boosts on my baby. i was wondering if i need to swap back the stockers for the rainy season.. i know all the people with chrome wheels swap to protect against rust but do i need to with my painted aluminum rotas? sorry if its a dumb question, searched but couldnt find anything

People switch wheels so they can run different tires for winter and keep a dedicated summer set.

No you do not need to take your wheels off. Just keep them clean like any other time of year.
