Question Winter Tires for STi?

Any recs? I just bought a 2005 STi and even though I live in Florida, I'll be making a bunch of trips up to TN throughout the winter.

I plan on getting some smaller wheels and semi-off-road tires in the future, but for now I just need to get something for the stock bbs wheels that will grip in winter conditions.

Cheers

I would have to replace the brakes, which is why I'm looking for some tires for the stock wheels in the short-term.

I have Dunlop SP5000 all seasons on my wrx right now. Excellent in the rain and good in the dry, havent taken them to the snow but I think they are snow capable...I have another set of oem wheels with Michelin Alpins for that.

I am using Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S tires on my WRX (215/45R17 on 17x7) so I could be able to go in the snow, which I will be doing December 30th. I'd be happy to let you know then how they perform in the white stuff. Just search and you'll see there are plenty who are happy with them.

Good luck!

Falken ZE-512s are also good, and inexpensive.
