Will a 17x8 with a 53 mm offset fit a 05 RS Wagon?
I was thinking of purchasing a 17x8 with a 53 mm offset rim and was wondering if there are any clearance issues with an 05 rs Wagon? Your guys help is greatly appreciated! Also what tire width would be good? Ride height is stock... Thanks again!

Those look to be STI takeoffs. If they are, then you may have problems if you have already purchased them. If the wheels are 17x8, then they are from an newer STI with the 5x114.3mm bolt pattern, & your car has a 5x100mm bolt pattern. If the wheels have the correct bolt pattern for your car, then yes, they will fit, but tire selsction will be critical.

But '04 STI wheels are 17x7.5.

pretty much any Subaru Impreza wheel will fit. With the wagons a 48 offset works well, I think a 50-52 would be better, can't remember.
As for tires, depends on where you drive. for summer and rain, the Falken GFB FK-451 tires are great! a 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 will fit fine on the wagon. If you go to the snow and don't do a whole lot of spirited driving, the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S is a great tire, high tread rating, great all around grip, even better in the wet. Just don't get them too hot(auto-x/track type beating) otherwise the stickiness goes to ****. Then you have to wait a thousand miles or so for that burnt rubber to wear off. its kind of odd sounding, but this happened on the set I had as well as a fried with an STi.
