That is perfect exactly what i wanted to see so i could show the wife.

+1

I was hopin someone with a blue scoob would have painted the stockers white so i could see what it really looks like.

But now i have another question?

WHAT KIND OF PAINT IS EVERYONE USING?

This is what I plan on doing so anyone correct me if i miss anything or if anyone has any suggestions.

I was gonna use the Dupicolor White wheel paint. No clear coat as I heard if you do use clear coat and wanna touch the rims up you have to repaint the whole thing. Plus i dont want my rims too glossy.

The big thing i have a question with is not getting the "fish eyes" or any grease blemishes. In the past when painting other rims it seem slike no matter how clean i got the rim it still messed up cuz of the tire shine stuff i put on. something about that stuff i just cant get off. any help?

I was gonna get some 600-800 grit paper and give it a very light sanding, why i dont know, but i guess it helps the paint stick a bit. i have never done this before and not had a problem. I would prefer not to so if anyone knows i dont have to do this please help.

Then i was gonna wipe down with a Duplicolor prep wipe and hope this keeps the blemishes gone.

I am gonna then use index cards and blue tape to mask off the tire so i dont overspray on the tire i was gonna put the tire at about a 45º angle and give it a very light coat to see if i have any seperating cuz of grease or anything. then i was gonna do about 3 or 4 medium coats before i do a wet coat, you know usual painting techsniques and let them sit for the weekend. i think 2 days should do it as far as having to go to work on monday maybe 3 days but i cant go longer than that.

and as i said before i dont wanna clear coat cuz i may have to touch up and i dont want my rims to glossy.

let me know if anyone has any tips i can roll with. thanks in advance

I havent really looked into it but it sounds a little out of my price range.

Also not that i know ish about it but i heard that hurts the inegrity of the wheel, strength wise. true or false?

have a ball park on prices?

When I painted my wheels I went to home Depot and picked up some 600 and 800 wet sand paper. Some Painters Touch White Primer and Painters Touch White Gloss Paint, and Painters Touch Clear Coat also.

Best thing to do is clean up the wheels really well. Dry off also. Then get them wet again and start wet sanding.
I had no issues with Fisheye and oil marks. Just take your time.
Total I believe I spent was maybe around 60 bucks to get everything I needed to paint them. Maybe a lil less not sure.
The time it took for all 4 was maybe 3-4 hours.

+1 to sebastiansally for the white stockers on the WRB. I think that pushed her over the edge, well either that or my insesant nagging about it.

Awesome. I think white wheels are cool.

They are incredibly difficult to keep clean, but they look great. I have a set of white wheels on my red legacy.
