Which wheels should I buy for my suby?
What I would really like is some 18" WHITE rims. I need a good rim for everyday driving that is somewhat light and very strong. I also need a set of tires for them. Any links or any advice would be greatly appreciated!

the low response is probably to your middle of the road requests...
White wheels? Well you have to wash your wheels all the time... and with white wheels brake dust shows up plenty. If you have aftermarket pads other than bobcats pluss slotted/crossdrilled rotors means you are washing your wheels way too often. So, maybe that is a reason white wheels ar not so popular.
As far as T/A KDW 2 they seem like a tire with better options in their price range. They are not bad.. just that for the money there are more popular choices.
Brigdgestone S-03
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Yokohama AVS Sports
Kumho MX
Falken Azeni Sport
Falken GRB FK451
Yokohama ES100
Bridgestone RE750

I dont plan on gettin aftermarket pads but i suppose i still would have to wash them a lot. What wheel manufacturers do you recommend that make very strong yet light wheels without spending a fortune? I also dont want tires that will wear out rather quickly. Id like to keep a nice balance of grip over wear. Do those tires you mentioned fit that description?

I dont mean to sound like a skipping CD, but whats wrong with Rota Wheels?
You said "What wheel manufacturers do you recommend that make very strong yet light wheels without spending a fortune?" That screams Rota. Sure Kazera wheels may offer their wheels in chrome... but is that "bling bling" really worth 5+ lbs. PER WHEEL and extra cash more for that chrome?
Check out the Rota Wheels here... or here...
I personaly prefer the 16" Slipstreams if you don't plan for a big brake kit, or the Attacks or Subzeros if you want 17" and the option for a big brake kit later. Depending on the brake kit, you might need to go 18" with the Subzeros or Tarmac II ect... lots of wheels to choose from at great prices...

If you like white get a cheap wheel you like then powder coat them. I have coated a set of stock wheels for a guy and they looked good. I was really hesitant to do it but they turned out good. For cleaning use a heavy wax like Raindance or Turtle Wax on them and brake dust will not stick to them as much. I charge $100 for a set of wheels but it depends what shops in your area charge for it $100-$200 should be the range.
Make sure the wheels you buy have the correct offset. I like my rotas, they are a good, light wheel for a good price and with the $ you save you can afford good rubber and a powdercoat job.
Save the money and do things right the first time, Volk TE-37's in white looks cherry. Considering the cost you get the best wheel that is offered and you will thank yourself later.
Rotas and so3's would be around that amount but you would have to wait on powdercoat untill you get more $. I bought 17" rotas and so3's and it was around $1400 but 18" so3's may be more (18" rotas are $650 just like 17s). Rota only has 2 styles in 18" and you can find them here:http://www.subydude.com/parts/wheels.php

not sure what your talkin about because the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 is better in every catergory except wear, which it's in 2nd place and this tire is the 2nd cheapest also. All I've heard is that they are a bit noisier...but that's a small sacrifice for a better handling and safer tire IMO. Just my $0.02
