Ya so I'm gonna get reamed for this but why the hell does everyone love the damn gold rims!?!

Is it just because the STI comes with them by default and everyone wants their car to look like that?

I think it's a terrible look...on any color car. Looks ghetto to me. Am I alone? If I am, I'll shut up

No i am with you on that, i dont get the gold at all? i prefer silver or black, but i guess everyone has their own taste

 

A lot of people like the gold/bronze rims. I'm not one of them. I would take white rims before i took gold ones. It's all in the eye of the beholder.

 

i admit i am the beholder of gold rims. at first i didnt like it but then again i hated huge f40 rear wings but here i am. sti owner and gold wheels on a nonair born wing. but i love it i actually waited for the gold ones for a while too. who would have thunk it. i guess the whole thing is all about attention. oh man, im attention deprived hehehehahahah. love the car and the look at well.

 

If you asked me a year ago I would have said gold and bronze are fugly.....Now I think gold looks SICK on white, and bronze looks good on just about anything. The fact that people like gold and bronze has nothing to do with the STI, it has much more to do with being unique, and also the fact that it's JDM....

Gold wheels on a white car is very nice IMO.

 

gold on silver is the coolest ever! I used to not like the gold/bronze look but I just think they look so sexy on subies. Thats right, they usually dont work on other cars for me (except skylines and silvias). So I guess it is due to the JDM roots.

 

 

I'm gonna paint my winter wheel covers gold after I get my mudflaps. How rally is that?
