what is the widest tire a 05 STI can accommodate?

rear sway bar installed...

definitely a difference, but I have another question now.
If I want the body to have less roll, what would the effect be if I added the Perrin front sway bar ( set to soft setting,) then set my rear to the stiff setting?

I just want to make the car really stick hard in the turns.

that would be fine, most sway bars are sold and installed in sets anyhow, the WRX is the first car Ive owned where the majority of people only upgrade the rear, but installing the front will also help reduce body roll.

yeah, its a fun road to thrash on but I dont think I will be going up there for that jump anymore.

But thats the only place on the whole road thats like that, the rest of it is just a great, empty, twist thrash
