I am about to put in an order of Volk racing GT-U's in 17x8 and I was wondering what offset should I go with?? They only come in +42 and +49 offsets, I do need rims to clear stoptechs and sti brembo's so any advice on which one to get? I will be putting 235-45-17 tires and I want something that won't rub with a decent drop. Input would be greatly appreciated!

 

+49 is less likely to rub, but may or may not clear the Brembos. Gruppe-S' site shows which Volks clear STi Brembos and which don't.

 

According to the Gruppe-S website neither fit w/ Brembo's. You might go w/ the +42's and add spacers.
