Vibration with tires
Vibration with tires
Bad week for tires this week. Had someone let the air out of my tire, and as my compressor was broken had to change the tire and got it checked while inflated. The next day on the way to work cut a different tire. Cut a 1/4 inch into the tread but the shop I went to plugged it. When I went to remount the tire and then lower, the jack slipped and the car dropped about 6 inches. Luckily the lugs were on a little more than finger tight but the problem I have now is a vibration in the car at speeds abound 110 120KM/hr (60 - 65 mph).
Two questions:
1. What could be causing the vibration?
2. On an 02 Impreza, Manual tranny, the manual didn't say anything about putting a fuse to bypass AWD when mounting the donut spare. It says something about it when car is automatic but I want to make sure I didn't screw something up that would cause prob #1 (ojnly drove on donut for about 30 kms max.)

Was the wheel completely off the ground when it dropped? If so then you may have bent even ever so slightly, im no aEngineer but if your car fell "violently" down then you may have bent something
