The only ADVAN-branded tire available in the US is the A032R, which is R-compound, and thus probably not something you'd want to drive to work on every day.
Just because the Japanese get all those awesome Advan Neova tires doesn't mean that we do. None of them are DOT legal here.

T1-S's are not over-priced crap, IMHO.
They are among some of the best tires available for a reasonable price, and they are lightweight as well.
