Rota Wheels were not bought by Drag and they have no relation at all. Rota is still owned and ran by the same company that started Rota Wheels back in 1977

The lighest Rota made is the Slipstream and it weighs 11 lbs (in 15" ) Our lightest Subaru wheel is currently the Rota SDX, these weigh 16.5 lbs.

Rota's fit on Subaru's without a need for hub rings i believe. check on it with subydude. :-)

DRAG are generally heavier
ENKEI looks like they're trying hard to start a trend.
I cant tell what the other two brands are, but the best bang for the buck I would say are Rotas. Low in price and light weight :-)

I actually have a similar question. I heard some subarus have the 5x100 bolt pattern and some have the 5x114.5 pattern If this is correct, what years have which patterns? I got a 2005 wrx and i was told that 2005 was the first year the 5x114.5 pattern started, is that correct?

so far 02-07 wrx's are 5x100
sti's from 05-07 are 5x114.5

and Speeding101 why buy replicas? buy the real deal. Work Emotion CR Kai's aren't super expensive wheels.

only 05+ STIs are 5x114.3.

Work should be above 1k just for rims arent they? I think you can get the Rota model + tires for under 1k.
Not so sure, but once again I must reiterate that the Rota's will not need hub rings and will fit onto your subaru without issues. Just make sure you know the width of the wheels you buy are not too wide to handle.

I believe the biggest width available without needing fender rolling is 7.5.
Can someone please confirm the above?

i've looked into works and they are not cheap whatsoever... trust me if i had the money i would buy them. but NO $$$$.... so i got to deal with the other versions.

and DannyMac just like mistaanime and imprezachiang said the bolt patterns are 5x100 for you, that i know!!!

and imprezachiang i am looking into 17x8... i don't think i have to roll my fenders until 9's so... but i'm not sure thats why i was asking...
