We have it, just not on the web. Give me a list of tires and sizes and I'll post the weights.

Here's another for your database: the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Great tires - I have had them for about 2 weeks. They weigh 22 lbs.

Most tire companies do list the tire weight, and all the other specs in a table. Look around their web sites and for each tire model, there are 'Tech Specs' you will find it.

BTW, Toyo Proxes T1-S weigh 20.9 lbs and have a 25.1 overall diameter in a 225/45-17. This tire is very nice!

By the way, I think you have me sold on the Wintersport M2's. Thanks for all your help!

Dexter - Great information; I wish you all would add it to your spec sheets on your website.

A couple of questions though - I'm not sure where (maybe the old Michelin website) but I thought the Pilot Sports in that size were around 25lbs? The Michelin website no longer lists weights in their spec sheets. It suprised me to see you listed all the Michelins as being so light.

Can you describe your feelings on the differences between the Pilot Sports and PS2's?

In addition, Kumho lists the weight of the MX's as 22.6 lbs. on their website. What gives?

PS2s are noticeably more responsive and offer better cornering traction overall. The Pilots offer better resistance to hydroplaning however because of the directional tread.

Weight discrepancy? Yeah - it happens. If we don't get the weight from the manufacturer, we measure it ourselves which sometimes yields a different number. I would say that there is variation expected in tire weights between manufacturing lots.
