What kind of tires are you using?

How long do they last for you?

Where do you live?

i've had the same problem too with stock alignment spec done countless times by a local shop (auto innovations.) the stock re92's got chewed after 25k miles, the es100's got really loud (subsequently sold), my S-03's were alright (maybe b/c it was 215/45/17?), and my new T1-S (225/45) are once again sounding off.

maybe i should just go back to 215/45....

I have es100's as well. They are very loud.

louder than they were on my civic. I just figured it's cause of the size.

For me...I just ignore it. only bugs me when I'm slowing down. I have a good stereo and I figure there's a trade off. More grip...more noise. I can deal with loud tires for more grip.

my re92's came off at around 25k as well...they probably had another 2k on them. I only rotated them a couple times. I didn't expect to get much more out of them and didnt care. The es100's I've had for about 2k tops. They seem fine. So I can't really comment on the tire issue.

I figured 25k was pretty good considering how hard I drove those tires. I mean I ripped donuts in the mud, in the snow, in water. I pounded them on dirt roads and paved roads. So much so that they were rounding off when I pulled them off. Considering it's a stock tire..and not a very good one for anything besides average grocery getting driving I thought they held up pretty well and I spent a winter in the snow and didn't die.

I'd say that if you're having so much of an issue with road noise you might want to look into getting your car sound proofed. I mean our cars have ZERO sound deadening. i mean, my honda had more. my buddies audi...you can't hear a damn thing. my car. I can hear a frog far a block away.

get your stock alignment specs. And check them against the data print out the tire shop is giving you.. Make sure it's right. Beyond that...maybe look for tires that are rated to be quieter than most.
