i just got found a screw in my tire and i switched to my stockies.. but the tire that has the screw in it has 2 quarter sized lumps on it.. i think its from sitting with the flat all night because i just saw it this morning.. is my tire done? they are almost new tires with less than 4000 miles on it...

 

i believe you are talking about bubbles in the tires? if so, yes your tires are done. i had a bubble in one of my tires that also had a nail in it. not really sure what causes them. what tires were they?

 

they are federal ss 595's... geez this car is a money pit!

 

haha yeah. the fact that our cars are AWD doesn't help.....

the cheapest way to fix it is to buy a new tire and have it shaved to same tread. it's either that or buy 4 new tires.

 

where can i get my tire shaved at? do most tire shops do it? i am gonna get a new tire tomorrow...
