Question Are these wheels any good??? please help!

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about getting new rims and tires for my baby sometime soon and I came across these - what do you think? More importantly, has anyone had any experience with these wheels or this manufacturer? They seem to be a bit on the cheap side, and I'm sure they're probably heavy as heck. I tried doing a few searches on different boards, but didn't come up with anything useful...

As far as I can tell, here are the specifics:

ADR/ RSL "ELITE" wheels
17 x 7
5x100/114 universal bolt pattern
48 offset

The manufacturer's website is at http://www.rslwheels.com - somewhat annoying music, and the pictures really aren't all that great in terms of giving an accurate picture of what the different finishes are like... Thanks for any input/replies.

Oh yeah, I drive a PSM WRX Sedan

Be sure to get the weight of these wheels and your new tires before you buy. The stock 16" wheel for the WRX Sedan is 16 lbs and the tire is 23 lbs. If you end up with a new 17' combination that is equal to or heavier than stock, your WRX's performance will suffer. If appearance is you primary concern (and the ADRs look good) don't worry about it. 50 offset is ideal.

It'll work, but I don't think they're the best choice for the WRX, particularly if they end up being too heavy. I know someone probably already said this before, but have you considered Rota's? Or if you can afford a bit more, check out Ray's Gram Lights, Ray's G-Games, Buddy Club P-1, 5Zigen's, or Kosei's. All the lower end models are still very lightweight yet quite durable due to advances in casting technology in Japanese wheel manufacturing.
