suggestions
having a real hard time finding some rims for my car, basically looking for 18" fairly dark rims (black wrx) , its a show car so something kind of nice but i want them to be sort of rare, i was looking at the black subzeros with chrome lip and think they are nice but getting popular, anyone have any suggestions on another similiar looking rim or a different one completely that isnt too popular and will look nice on a black car keeping the sleek all dark/black look. pics or suggestions would be great

i finally make a thread and think ill get some help in deciding what rims to get and all i get is the admin of the forum to make fun of me, i mean i feel honored but come on guys help me out

This is the problem, you want "rare" wheels, but you don't want to pay that much. There isn't a high probability of both of these things happening. The only way you will be able to get wheels that are "rare" is to pay a pretty decent amt for them. Otherwise, what you really want are wheels that "look different" i.e. some kind of cheap wheels that are powdercoated or painted.

Suggestion for a _perfect_ rim
Check out HRE wheels. The 540R series I believe it is. The have a huge polished lip, true three-peice design, and can do the center in about any color you want.
If it's a show car and you want the best, check them out. Definately.

How are Volks not worth the money? They are like some of the best wheels available for our cars. They are forged, light, and durable. And they look good. I am sure that there are a lot of people that would love to have these wheels but just cannot afford it.
After all, you said this was a show car. So I think that Volks would look really good on a WRX.
