It's come that time when my ride needs some new kicks. I'm thinking of getting some gun-metal 18's wrapped in 225/40's. In light of this consideration, I pose two questions:

1) If I'm keeping a similar running radius with a lower profile tire, is it a good or bad idea to go to the 18's from the stock 17's?

2) Has anyone ridden on the Strata Zeno's? I'm not looking for a track quality tire, just something I can have a little fun on for my commute, and still head to tahoe without having to concern myself too much about traction in the winter conditions. I'm open to suggestions.

Also, if anyone has some gun metal wheels that they're looking to get rid of, let me know what you've got.
