Stupid question, I know, but I was wondering if anybody had every tried puting on winter tires on 15 steel rims. I want to put a set of wrx front brakes on my 94 impreza (which came with 14's), and I'm taking a furgule approach, hence the 15's on steel rims. But I'm not sure if they clear the calipers. Can anybody help?

They don't fit.
I tried mounting my 15" steels from my 00 RS. The fronts don't clear the larger rotors and calipers. You might be able to get 16" steels from TireRack or Discount tire direct.
