sticky, quite all seasons

I am looking to upgrade my tires on my stock 05 RS. I still have the original tires on, but I want to upgrade my tires before I start playing with the suspension. I want something that is going to be stickier than the stock tires and hopefully less noisy. I wont be using dedicated winter/summer tires, so I'm looking for a good all season. Post your recommendations. If the tires are noisy, I don't want them. Thanks
JOe

Do you have to worry about snow at all?

I'm in El Paso for another year, so no snow, but after that I will be dealing with plenty in Denver

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. They are kind of pricey though.

Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S. Fairly affordable, and did well in the Colorado winter.

Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S on my wife's Audi A4. Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S on my WRX. Only my WRX has seen snow. Both perform well in dry and wet.

Ok, thanks everyone. It looks like the Pirellis are the best buy. How do they compare to the stock tires as far as noise/comfort, and handling?

They are better than the RE92's in EVERY area.

My Dunlop SP5000's are pretty quiet and handle well (for all-seasons) in the dry for spirited driving. I took them to Tahoe yesterday and they did ok in the snow...they are great in the wet.

For a summer only tire, Ive heard that the Toyo T1R is fairly quiet and sticky. I may try those some day.

www.tirerack.com has pretty good tire decision guide, test results, and spec. I think noise is one of the items they look at. good luck!
