Stern wheels
Anyone had any experience with Stern wheels? How is the quality? I've seen an ad for them in SCC for the last couple months, but I don't know anything about them or anyone with any experience with them. I'm entertaining the thought of getting some wheels for my brothers VW R32 and I ran across a set of them that look really nice and are a good price. Since I couldn't find out any info about them on my own, I figured who better to ask than my fellow i-club members. I know it's a shot in the dark, but if anyone has any input please let me know. Thanks!

I do know that they're manufactured in Japan. If I recall correctly, they're mainly for VIP cars, which means they look great but are probably heavy. That's about all I know for now...

The Stern Aguzze's and Mach's in 17"x7.5" are both under 15 lbs.

I never said cheap
If anything, parts for V.I.P cars (that is, luxury tuning) are even more expensive than sport tuning. It was mainly conjecture on my part in regards to the weight of the wheels, since I have indeed seen them on V.I.P. cars before. I assumed that they may have been heavy since they didn't hawk their light weight but instead their rich style.
But anyway, thanks for the clarification. I learned something new today
