SSR Wheels

Wondering on what you opinion are with SSR wheels. I just found out that they are being carried in the US again http://www.more-japan.com/SSR.php and was wondering what you think about the quality of the wheels. Im sure that they are pretty expensive. Just wondering how they stack up to wheels like Volk, Enkei, Advan, etc...

I have a set of the oldschool SSR competition's and they are great. They are very light weight but they are realy more for track use then every day bumpy roads (like in CA) but that is kinda how things go for very light wheels. if you realy want to play with your car or take it on dirt roads or anything close to that I would say to go with something else.

The Tire Rack carries the SSF products that SSR makes .... there are other companies that carry the cast products which as stated are heavy.

it is true that some SSR wheels are heavy because they're 3 piece construction. if u compare the 3 piece SSR with other 3 piece wheels, SSR is much lighter.

SSR makes a number of very lightweight wheels as well as some not so light wheels. As previously stated, most 3 piece wheels are heavier and the SSRs like the professor SP1 is not an exception. They are great quality wheels
