SSR Comps w/out Center caps??

Vividracing had a blow-out sale and I ended up buying 17x7.5 SSR Comps for $1200. I thought it was a great bargain until I received them and got no centercaps and one box was missing the stickers and the valve. These wheels are way to expensive to come without centercaps!!! Can any SSR comp owner tell me if they come with the caps?

Mine came with caps....Call Vivid and *****...or...
Call Tire Rack, they can help you. It may take a while to get them, though, and don't be surprised at the price....

Center cap quote

email or emily@tirerack.com

she said they are $20 a piece and 8 bucks to ship = $88 bucks

I'll be getting mine in the spring since the wheels are coming off soon for the winter. BTW i got my ssr comps 2nd hand and not from the tirerack, and the guy misplaced the center caps, they're supposidly somewhere is his garage.

The car still looks fine without the caps. I bet it looks better w/caps though.

I called vivid and they told me they're on back order. The valve stems and stickers should all be shipped to me along with the centercaps in 2 weeks. Vivid was real cool about it all. Thanks though Stats.

Don't run the center caps anyway. Plus the stickers bite.

OH, yeah...make sure you get the(correct) O-rings with the caps or they won't stay in and you will have to buy them again...and...
The caps are REAL soft aluminum...I mean beer can soft.
Be extra gentile installing them, or you WILL bend them

i think the car looks fine without the center caps. If i feel like throwing an extra 100 bucks out the window next spring i'll get the caps or i might instead get some Sti door sills or a factory momo shift ****.

I really want a delta dash however. With that bad boy i'll know everything about my car, i only hope it comes with the instuctions and comprehensive tuning info.

If you choose to run without caps, you may want to pack some grease in the end of the axle/nut area to keep crap out, especially in the winter.

Nah, I'll put the caps on...that wasn't the concern at all. I was trippin out cuz Vivid hadn't sent me the caps along with the wheels.

...and uhmm...they still haven't. I've heard bad things bout Vivid, and I talked to Mike and he even e-mailed me a little bit ago to let me know the status of my "problem". They seem pretty cool, I just hope I don't get f**ked.

Installing Comp center caps? Put a swipe of vaseline on the o-ring. Otherwise it can get pinched and pop out. I've found a rubber mallot with soft cotton cloth over the cap works best on installation.
