Sounds like our Sti speedos read 1-3mph low (~5%). Won't going to a larger OD tire correct this? I wouldn't do it for the speedo error correction, but it seems like a great excuse for some extra rubber when replacement comes around and the fringe benefit is a more accurate speedo, not a less accurate one!

Stated that incorrectly yesterday. Our speedos read high. Speedo reads 80 when we're doing ~78 for example. Larger tire would correct this right?

A larger diameter tire will indeed correct it. Is it smart? Anyone here using the 235/45s on there? Anyway, a larger diameter tire will put fewer miles on your car over a given distance and cause the speedometer to read lower than a smaller diameter tire at a given speed.
