PFF7's are really nice. But you pay the price for it in a big way.

The SDR's aren't quite as nice IMO.

But, given the price difference, I would rather take the extra $1000 or so and put it into other stuff.

Namely, a stereo if you are getting a STi.

im having the same debate, i actually saw the pff-7's when i went and bought my wrx on another wrx, and the color that prodrive had to offer did not look too hot, rota has way more color options and its much cheaper, i think the rotas are actually lighter too

I have the Rota SDRs. I got them mainly because of the price. I figure if I ever damage the rim, its cheap to replace and I dont have to baby them too much.

I have the prodrive PFF7's and love them... but one big selling point for me was that I had the prodrive springs, which they said were tuned for 18" wheels. I've tracked them and they perform great on my wagon!

If you can afford it, get the Prodrives. It's Prodrive and fully forged. Need I say more?

I thought the Gc-07's were the forged wheels and the PFF-7s were "flow cast" which is better (lighter and stronger) but not as strong and light as a fully forged wheel.

As for your question,

If you have the cash go for the Pro Drives and I don't think you'll regret it. Those are great wheels.

If you don't have the cash get the Rotas, and don't worry that they aren't as strong or light, cause if you jack 'em up just get new ones.
