rim shopping...bbs rs?

so i really wanted to put rota p45r's(not p45f because it doesnt have the curve like the r does) but they wont fit without some serious offset and spacers for 05 sti...so another option i've been thinking about is bbs rs classic, any inputs? there are pictures flying around i think in vwvortex.com
bbs rs does need some about 3-7mm spacers, doesnt seem so bad compared to what p45r needs.

Umm... not sure what your question actually is. Yes, if you want to stuff big fat wheels under your car you will likely need to do some work to the fenders and/or appropriate spacers + studs. But if you really, really like a given set of wheels it's probably worth the effort.

yeah thats what i meant, would it be worth it to put on a odd looking offset even though its the rim i really want. i cant really tell by looking at the picture but i've seen some nice rims but on undersized tires and just sticking out too much makes it look bad. was wondering if anyone had any tips on puting on a rim that wont really fit, make it fit and make it look right.

Well, if the offest is too high, you can just use spacers. That will move the wheel away from the hub and out more from under the fender. But if the offset is too low, there's nothing you can do.

What are the available sizes and offsets?. You could also consider some CCW classics

Massively stiff springs and/or major fender work in the rear. You also don't really want to run two different size wheels, even with the same size tire on them.
