Arrow Rim assistance

Hey guys,
I have a 05 STI thats on Swift springs and Rota P1 wheels. I am considering going with some Rota p45s. My question is what is the widest rim I can go with without issues. Isnt 9.5 to wide? Do the p45s come in 9s?

Well, fitting rims over 8.5" wide will depend on a few factors:

  • How much modification do you find acceptable (especially the rear fenders)?
  • What is the exact width and offset of the rims in question?
  • What kind of suspension are you running (e.g. coilovers or struts/springs)?
myself, i have 17x9 Rota Grids +42. I'm also running struts and Swift springs.

At -1.6 in the rear, i am able to fit those rims barely, and this is with quite a bit of shaving in the rear fenderwells.

I didn't feel like pulling the rear fenders since there is the potential to have paint problems.

-Preferably as little as possible lol

-I am currantly on 18x8 Rota P1's but was thinking of going into something like the Rota P45s but I know I cant go into the 9.5s. I just like the look of the 9.5s becouse they bend inwards ya know?

-I am on swift springs, Same as you with a 1.6 drop in the rear.

I dont feel like going crazy on the fenders, just want a new clean look. The P1's I have are nice, but a ***** to clean some times lol
