Question Recommendation on Wheels

I have a 2004 Silver WRX sedan. I want to get new wheels 17s, and I'd appreciate some suggestions. I prefer more spokes than less.

My favorite wheels are the: Advan RSs, Kreusers Xs, and Prodrive GC-010s but they are a bit too expensive for me, since I will also have to purchase new tires.

Something similar in looks but around $250-$350 is more financially feasible.

Thanks so much!

You might want to take a look at what Rota's has to offer if you are looking for something on the cheaper side.

i got 17 inch rota SDRs in flat black. Pretty much just 7 spokes, nothing flashy. pretty cheap, spent more on my tires.

I was interested in the Rota Tarmac IIs. What's stopping me is that the roads around where I live are horrific, full of potholes. A colleague of mine has Rotas and bent 2 wheels (separately occasions) on potholes. Now, it could be that the size of these potholes would damage any wheel.

I was looking at the OZ ultraleggeras in either silver or matte graphite or the Enkie GTC-01.

I used to have 17" Advans and I loved them. They get my vote. But for the money, you can't beat Rotas.

Look for some used 04 STI BBS wheels. I traded my oe wheels for a set +$450.

I also have a set of rota's (19 lbs cast) and I've been very happy with them but the BBS are in a totally different class (16.6 lbs and forged aluminum).

Search the classified section for any deals on the used BBS...

As for "look alikes" go with Rotas, they made a bunch of them. Either check Speedelement (former MPJ) or Scubydude.
