i just got a 1984 subaru gl wagon. what are the biggest rims i can put on it, without any mods? if i do have to do some mods, what are some good ideas?

old subarus use the 4x140 bolt pattern. so youre pretty much screwed if you want to use any newer fancy rims... unless...

peugeot was the only other car company that used 4x140 rims. every once in a while you can find a set for sale on USMB. there, you can also find information on how to the the infamous 5-lug swap, which uses parts off of an xt-6 to convert to 5x100.
