Question on Tire Size...Yes another thread.
I finally got my fno1r-c's today in the mail, and now I am looking for tires. I am gonna get the Pirelli Pzero Neros M+S. Now size is the next question. I got 17x7 and I think 225/45 should be okay. But tell me how you guys think, should I go for 205? or 215? or will 225 be okay? BTW they are very sexy rims.

Got ya, should I go higher? I have been reading the forums and answers vary, but i was always told that 225 should be good. And this might be off topic but, does anyone think the Pirelli Pzero Neros M+S's are okay? or anything better and around that price range..

wagon or sedan? on a wagon, 225 might be a little high, 215's r the safe ones, but lots of people seem to have success with it, if its a sedan, 225s r stock while 235s might work, seem to for many people, but more risky again. GL

Re the PZero Nero M+S... I wanted to get them... but ended up getting the Eagle F1 GS D3. I also considered the Potenza S03s - but they were too cheap. I finally went with the F1 GS D3's instead of the Nero M+S because the Nero's did not come in the size I was looking for (225/55 on stock 16 inch wheels).
In the Bay Area I dont care much about anything besides summer performance (and I use a diff car to drive to the snow), but in WA you might want to consider wet and snow conditions. Of course, the F1 GS D3's have really good rating in the wet as well.
PS post some pictures of the rims...

The goodyears are pretty good. They stick really well. They are superb on the bends and curves. Surprisingly, they seem to make less noise than the oem tires. Also, the tread pattern looks great, and sort of "unique".
The only thing I have against them is that they seem to feel very jittery at times. Especially on slightly uneven roads. It is sort of like a tramlining feeling, they tend to grab on to every bump in the road, and that translates to a slight pull/tug on the steering wheel. After a while you get used to it, but it bothered me for the first few weeks.
Of course, being so sticky, they wear really quick... mine are only maybe 3000 miles old, and look a lot worst than that
Other than that... they are great!
